The Omega Seamaster 300m Steel Sedna ref 18.104.22.168.03.002 blue dial blue rubber strap. This is quiet a nice piece by Omega blend of Rose gold and steel with ceramic bezel. They been in circulation for a round 2 to 3 years and remember liking this model when launched. Omega have revamped the original Seamaster 300m with a new movement and see through caseback. Always wonder why watch brands put a see through caseback as never much to see, only some of the more esteemed brands with really stunning movements I get the viewable movement. Both front and rear domed crystal are scratch resistant tough but not chip resistant.
So the watch size is 42mm with blue wavey dial 300 metres water resistant. A good looking watch must admit 18k gold bezel, crown, helium value. The bezel gold numbers over Ceragold diving scale ceramic blends well with the dial. Movement is co-axial calibre 8800 been used in a fair few Omega models comes with 5 year warranty. A cracking movement for timing within COSC rated.
The gold parts of the watch are a trademark of Omega Sedna fiery Rose Gold alloy very technical then for gold. But looks great against the polished lugs and satin sides. Watches are getting used for more and more uses this days model is essentially a divers watch. The seamaster has incorporated that watch can withstand magnetic fields up to 15000 gauss. Not really sure what that does as I just wear the watch and possibly swim with them on occasions.
Quiet like the feel on the rubber strap very comfortable all in all. I am generally a steel bracelet type of guy never liked nato straps or leather. This model is a great all rounder smart casual watch which they do in plenty variations. Rrp on this exact model is £6480 today as was price increase today.
The all important wrist wow that looks fantastic would have liked the black on black version, but its what comes up. But clearly a good route for Omega the rubber strap. I always like Omega it is great brand but prices are getting silly on some pieces.
