The Watch-Collector Leeds was founded through a genuine passion for luxury Swiss watches, built over many years of collecting, buying, wearing and appreciating exceptional timepieces. My interest in watches began with Breitling. I had always aspired to own the iconic Yellow Dial Breitling Emergency Ref. E76321, a watch originally designed with aviation in mind and famous for its emergency distress signal capability. It was bold, technical, and unlike anything else. At the time, I settled for the more understated Breitling Aerospace, a smaller and more refined alternative with the same SuperQuartz movement, but without the emergency rescue function.

A few years later, I was fortunate enough to purchase my first Rolex, the legendary non-date Rolex Submariner 14060. From that moment, I was hooked. The quality, precision, reputation, and timeless design of Rolex completely changed how I viewed watches. It was no longer just about owning a nice timepiece; it became a real appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and detail. Over the years, that passion grew into a varied collection, including stainless steel, 18ct gold, bi-metal, ceramic, chronograph, DLC-coated, vintage, and modern watches. Some were daily wearers, some were rare finds, and some were sold with regret, as many collectors will understand. Vintage watches have become a particular interest in recent years. As my knowledge has grown, so has my appreciation for aged patina, classic case shapes, older movements and the character that only time can create.
