Hands on with the later version Tag Heuer Carrera CAR2A10 Ceramic Bezel, this is a updated version of the original carrera, I recently purchased this model and also sold it recently. This model has some nice tweaks from Tag heuer the most noticeable is the bezel made out of ceramic not uncommon these days most of the swiss brand’s gone down that road of ceramic bezels.
As most folk with me included think it really sets the watch off the ceramic bezel very distinctive and strong hard and shinny, the watch has grown slightly in size to 43mm but looks a lot bigger and robust that the older model. The dial has big numbers rather than hour batons. They have added a little colour to the chrono hand and the pushers which is nice. They have retained the see through case always a great touch all though you can see them when watch is on the wrist, a new different movement nicer looking too with 50 hour power reserve.
The bracelet they have redesigned satin and polished finish but a lot nicer and robust than the older model, overhaul great everyday wearer from Tag Heuer and tool watch but all the modifications came at a price Rrp £3800 ouch!!
But Tags can be discounted heavily dont get why people do not shop about for the best price online instead of getting carried away on the high street stores.
