Rolex Country Codes
Rolex issued Guarantee certificates with every new Rolex purchased which has a punched 3 digit code in the corner which relates to country of where the watch was sold. The picture below shows a code “160” which referring to the chart is a country code of Great Britain. Some of the “special” country codes with a star stand for the Rolex headquarters itself, which are only used for direct purchases by private customers at that particular authorized dealer. These are thought to be very rare indeed. The never version Rolex warranty cards from late 2006 come with a credit card style papers with the country code printing with the model number.
